Lisa Kyle has worked as a photojournalist since graduating from Ohio University. She worked for newspapers in Ohio, Michigan and New Jersey before launching her freelance career. She has won several awards from the National Press Photographers Association as well as the Society of Professional Journalists and numerous local awards.

Her pictures have been published in The New York Times, The Baltimore Sun, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Pittsburgh Magazine.
