Marvin Collins has enjoyed photographing weddings with the Wedding Bureau since 2000. Based for many years near San Francisco, California, as a newspaper and magazine photographer, he covered the struggles and politics of Central America in the 1980s. Reflecting on Ben Franklin’s belief that there was never a good war or a bad peace, he entered the gentler world of the California wine industry on his return from the frontlines, and now regularly contributes pictures and words from North America and Europe to Wine & Spirits Magazine and other wine publications.

Marvin has a life long interest in human ritual and feels privileged to have photographed wedding ceremonies of many cultures. Covering each wedding is a fresh pleasure. He is always seeking the telling expression or gesture that reveals genuine emotion and the deep connections between people. He is a master of traditional black and white photography who has embraced the techniques of digital photography as a further embellishment of his craft.

Howard Gale Ford is a Pulitzer Prize nominated photojournalist with over 30 years of experience. He worked as a staff photographer as well as the director of photography at the Oakland Tribune. Since turning to a career in freelancing, his work has appeared in Time Magazine, Newsweek Magazine, The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Los Angeles Times and several newspapers in Europe. In addition, his corporate clients include CitiBank, The Royal Bank of Scotland, the National Basketball Association and many others.

Howard brings a sensitive eye and a caring heart to his wedding photography. His vast newspaper experience has trained him to have a sharp, decisive eye that is constantly on the lookout for the little moments that are often missed.
