Jared Lazarus covers North Carolina for The Wedding Bureau. Jared recently relocated from South Florida when he took a job at Duke University as a staff photographer. Jared spent 10 years working in newspapers including the last five years as a staff photographer for The Miami Herald before making his move north. His passion for telling stories through his photography led him on a personal journey as he followed his grandparents move from their longtime home to an assisted-living facility. The fascinating photographs that emerged show his attention to the details that together, make up the whole of a sensitive story. He brings that same enthusiasim to his wedding photography.
